Krasnodar: The following occurrence was exclusively reported by the Circassian service of Radio Liberty. Forty years ago, in accordance with decision of Krasnodar officials, a water barrage was constructed in Adygea. The reason, that they had brought then, to build the so-called “Krasnodar’s Water Barrage”, was the necessity of much water to the territory for producing rice. A long time passed since Adygea’s population calls to eliminate the artificial water barrage, but their appeals do not heard by Krasnodar and Moscow.
It is forty years already since the local population suffers from Krasnodar’s artificial water barrage which had been constructed in Adygea bordering Krasnodar. Many years the local population appeals to the authorities in hope of eliminating the water barrage which causes a huge destruction in the spheres of health, stocks and ecologies. Adygeya: The illegal cutting down of the trees near to the Maykop town water supply point was made in the territory of the beech and fir genetic reserve, as well as in the sanitary protection zone of the water supply point. It was revealed during the check organized by the Office of public prosecutor of Maykopsky area with participation of the local ecological public.

On 21 May 1864, the Caucasian War ended with the occupation of Circassian land. The Czar approved a decision to deport and exile the entire Circassian people. Cherkessk: On April 26 in Cherkessk town the constituent congress of public organization of the veterans-volunteers of the Patriotic war of the people of Abkhazia of 1992-93 was held. The organization united in its structure veterans of the Abkhazian war from Abkhazia, Adygeya, Karachaevo-Circassia and Kabardino-Balkaria.
According to the participant of the constituent congress Anzor Gloov, in spite of the fact that the congress had an emergency character, the decisions made at it were not casual and had been fruiting for a long time. “Necessity of uniting of the isolated combatant organizations has ripened for a long time, being discussed during the last years with the permanent activity. However, as a push to speeding up of consideration of consolidation of the veterans of Northern Caucasus and Abkhazia served the actions of Georgia in the conflict zone for the last year.
